HP Serviceguard for Linux is a high availability clustering solution for HP Integrity, HP ProLiant servers running RHEL or SLES. The software provides critical applications the high availability that enterprise customers require for 24x7 business operations. It is designed to protect applications from a wide variety of software and hardware failures by monitoring the health of each server (node), quickly responding to failures of system processes, system memory, LAN media and adapters, or applications. HP Serviceguard for Linux (SGLX) increases service uptime, maintains data integrity, reduces planned and unplanned downtime, and protects against disasters and major site outages for physical and virtual servers in an industry-standard, open operating environment.
